This lazy egg yolk character is the mascot for the Gudetama Cafe around the world! Ah so cute...
Singapore has one Gudetama Cafe, located at Suntec City Mall, Temasek Boulevard. It opens daily form 10am - 10pm. I went to this cafe with Shaunie for having lunch together.
The cafe has so warm atmosphere, with the egg yolk picture and form everywhere. Even the chair form is like cracked boiled egg. Ha.. ha..
Since Gudetama character is an egg, so this cafe offers the menu with the EGG as it main star! Every food menu shows the Gudetama character on it definitely, with the eyes and mouth too!
Okay, so,, we ordered the food called "I'm Cold" Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. That dish was one of the best seller food from the Gudetama Cafe. The photos were so cute, we couldn't wait for that twins Gudetama coming onto my table!
After 15 minutes, then that lazy Gudetama came to my table! The plate was so huge, and enough for two ppl at the same time. Lucky we just ordered one dish, ha.. ha..
We took a lot of picture of that real Gudtama. Afterward, we tasted it!!!
It was 03.00 pm at that time, we were very hungry after long walk from Orchard Road. Then we just ate it quickly. I think, the taste was good. There were so many ingredients in one plate, like salmon, mushroom, salads, etc. But they were mixed very well with the sauce (I didn't know what sauce that was).. I think it was Hollandaise sauce. The cute twins Gudetama, were saved for the last. Actually we didn't have the heart to stab our fork to that yolk!!! LOL.
For me, the food score was 7/10. For Shaun? He didn't give comment. Ha.. ha.. (maybe he was too tired). Okayy, I think the cafe are bringing so much fun for us. For you who want to try have food in this cafe, just come to the Suntec City. Maybe you will be on the waiting list, because this Gudetama Cafe is always full seated! ^^.
